Morphological Characteristics Of Fruits And Seeds Of Indigenous Star Apple Species (“nwanu”) As Affected By Geographical Location
Morphological characteristics of fruits of indigenous star apple species (“nwanu”) were studied. The objectives of this study were to determine the (i) relationship among the morphological characteristics of the fruits species and (ii) effect of geographical location on morphological characteristics of indigenous star apple. The weight (g), length (cm) and width (cm) of the fruits (exocarp and mesocarp) were determined.
